Abstract

ABSTRACT
A new series of sulfonamide derivatives of 1,2,3-triazole-indole (12a–j) were designed and pre�pared. All compounds were characterized by 1 HNMR, 13CNMR and mass spectral data. Further, all compounds (12a–j) were assessed for their in vitro anticancer effects against four different types of human cancer cell lines including Cervix cancer (SiHa), Lung cancer (A549), Breast cancer (MCF-7) and Colon cancer (Colo-205) using MTT method. Among the tested compounds, 12a, 12b, 12e, 12h, 12i and 12j displayed more potent anticancer activities as etoposide. Principally, one compound 12j possessed superior activity.
